Unsure as yet. Can't see a brand new bus being left sat in the garage all day though. Who knows, one may put in an appearance on the 47 every so often.

Would be nice on the 47 if it's not needed elsewhere. Although it depends on that I guess. But yeah sitting in the garage is a waste. Infact if that's what will happen all the time then it makes me wish there wasn't a spare in a way.

Had a ride myself on board one of the new Enviro 400's. So far so good! I can't see that lasting for long however giving their build quality in the past hope I am wrong!

Was there a problem on 375/385s yesterday afternoon, I caught 12:43 375 from Wigan and when we got to Concourse at 13:23 there were 3 buses in all going to Wigan which were 375, 385 & 395 and all left within 5 minutes of each other.

Other news is that 300 seemed to have variety of vehicles allocated to it yesterday with the following noted:

3x Volvo B10BLE
1x Commander
1x Pulsar 2

I rode on the Commander on 14:53 journey from Southport and was quite impressed to be honest, nice turn of speed on the straight sections of route and gearbox was quite smooth as well

Commander was 2622, the 300 can quite frequently have a variety of vehicles on there.

Could have been due to the fact it was 'market day' in Ormskirk, which practically gridlocks the place.

Had rides on 4576 and 4581 today on the 375/385. Both nice enough buses, although the latter did occasionally struggle a little over bumpier roads which doesn't bode too well for the future.

I didn't see a single decker on the route for the first time in a long while, which makes a pleasant change.

Reports on Facebook that 7654 has finally been withdrawn. End of era sadly, no-more MTL.
