Totally agree. Provided the driver has the correct footwear, and isn't wearing a football shirt, or something offensive, his ability to perform the task is definitely enhanced if he's comfortable.

I thought on tfgm tenders you had to wear some sort of uniform like shirt and pants as thats why arriva in manchester are not allowed the polo shirts i was told.

it not the tenders but Quality Partnership Scheme it within the agreement is. The Uniform Standard means a uniform which displays Operator identification and consists as a
minimum of a collared shirt/blouse, trousers/skirt (not jeans) and appropriate outerwear.

Thanks , as i know when i was on loan to arriva wythenshawe depot i turned up wearing my polo top and they thrown me 2 normal shirts and said "start wearing them from tommorow as polos cant be worn".

Simon Dunn has posted on another forum that more Streetdecks for Bolton (along with Streetlites for West Mids/Hallmark) were due to start delivery from the 1st November but due to the current Wright Bus situation, he believes the first buses won't be seen until April.

They've been on order since June.
The First spec Streetdecks & ex Demo's were extra.
7 more Mellor Strata's also due imminently for Diamond WM
