A shadow of what that service used to be when it was a TfGM contract awarded to South Lancs Travel.

An interesting move meaning that Warrington's Own Buses will now have routes in Wigan every day of the week in the evening and every daytime apart from Saturday.
They clearly are looking much more at tenders in neighbouring authorities.
Shame that the timetable still calls them Network Warrington, but then maybe they'll need to rebrand to Warrington's and Wigan's own Buses now anyway lol.

If they call themselves wigan's own buses they'll have to fit little green lights next to the destination

"Wigan's Own Buses" would be misleading name unless Wigan Council acquire some buses which are used on the service.

Personally I don't see what was wrong with Warrington Borough Transport as a name.

Or simply as Warrington buses

I think that's a more sensible name than Warrington's Own Buses but I think WBT is slightly better given the borough of Warrington is bigger than just the town of Warrington and it's the town most people will think of when they hear 'Warrington.'

Given that 5 of them do not have CAT reg's, I wonder whether a few will operate on standard instead of CAT routes?
