Liverpool echo reports that some idiots damaged a bus in Netherton last night as part of this stupid mischief night, guessing that it is from here, anybody know what was involved and if it was from here. Thanks

I have only seen one report in the echo about a bus last night and that was the one I mentioned. Anyway, later reports reveal the the bus was 7660 so a bit unfortunate for the people that done it as it was of course carrying police and they were arrested.

Good old 7660 coming in useful very late into its life. Glad to hear that those goons were arrested.

MM reports that 2944 (MX09 LYF) SB200/Pulsar2 has been involved in an RTA and is currently at SH Bodyshop awaiting accident repairs.
Who's to say it'll come out in Interurban livery like Bootle's other Pulsars after similar incidents (2942, 3018 and 3020)?

News from the depot is that Arriva Bootle are planning to introduce a route 63 soon.
Apparently, at the moment they're finalising the exact details of the route and times.

No idea where this route may run, but it could be similar to route 62??
Keep an eye out in the VOSA thread as it may appear soon...

Interesting. There used to be an industrial service 63 operating between Kirkby and Speke in the early 70s but I'm sure that won't be that. As Arriva now number their services to indicate an operating area, it does sound as if it will be a variation of one of the 60 routes.

2265 has now been fitted with a LED destination board at the front only. It has no route number on the side or rear.
