1019 330GGX is the latest Optare Solo to gain the Little Gem livery. It retains its Manchester Storm ad.

Solo 1007 was at altrincham interchange today about 13:25. It looks mega smart in little gem livery.
A few people have said it reminds them of the old GM buses livery. Looks really smart & lovely & bright.

Is anybody on here from the bodyshop team at goodwins? If not please could somebody congratulate those lads on a really top notch absolutely stunning job with the repainting of the solos into the orange little gem livery.
They honestly are the smartest buses around & I've not seen such a high quality paintjob in years.

Is there anything you can compare these with, a Transdev repaint maybe?

5 OCZ8834 still wearing blue fronts but noticed yesterday with striking new ads for 'The Green Room' and 'Traders', two of the main bars in Altrincham. Presume it'll get an orange front soon.

According to this months REC newsletter the bus/coach operations of Ashalls have been acquired.
Ashalls will continue as a dealer/vehicle conversion specialist but all existing coach and bus work will pass to Goodwins - not sure if any vehicles are included.
