RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - gka472l - 06/08/2012 09:52 Perhaps Bolton could be a destination for some of the Myllenniums from LS & SP? RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - J654UHN - 06/08/2012 10:39 shame the ikarus's are leaving as ive never had chance to ride one. Always liked them with them being different RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - K853 MTJ - 06/08/2012 10:49 (06/08/2012 10:39)J654UHN Wrote: shame the ikarus's are leaving as ive never had chance to ride one. Always liked them with them being different Theres still going to be 6 left I think mate, 3 Ikarus 481s and 3 Polaris', so theres still a chance to ride them! RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - J654UHN - 06/08/2012 10:51 i would guess they will follow these as they are all the same age and on a 10 year lease. Suppose with them being non-standard in the Arriva fleet they wouldnt purchase the lease. Wouldnt be suprised if the all the other MAN vehicles follow suit RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - K853 MTJ - 06/08/2012 10:55 Nope, they aren't the same age. The 481s are V and W reg, the remaining 489s are Y reg, so they would have returned already if they are on a lease as well. RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - Jack - 06/08/2012 11:28 Also the Ikarus buses aren't MANs, they are DAF SB220 like the Myllenniums. The older V/W reg ones aren't very nice to ride on in my opinion, slightly better since the refurb and not had a chance on a Polaris yet. RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - J654UHN - 06/08/2012 16:40 the newer ones look and seem better otherwise they wouldnt of sent them on the 700 RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - T42 PVM - 11/08/2012 18:45 Since you guys are busy 7622 left the other day for Bolton, they will finish the work and it will then enter service with them RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - LJ51DCX - 17/08/2012 16:13 The latest Arriva Disposal list shows former ANW Wright Crusader Volvo B6's X801-9AJA and X811-22AJA It also lists the 2 X814/6AJA dumped here as being the property of Arriva North East. So i doubt they will be used by Arriva again unless Midlands wants them to replace vehicles acquired with the former D&G operation at Wolverhampton. Other Arriva North West vehicles on the disposal list as follows; Volvo Olympians R319WVR R322WVR and R327WVR And Marshall Darts T615PNC and T621PNC RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre - T42 PVM - 17/08/2012 16:29 7621 has gone into service at bolton so thats to stay |
