Yes presumably it is, as 21221 was showing as the other bus on the Diamond Bus website bus tracker on service 79 today. RE: Diamond Bus North West - mikemcniven - 17/04/2019 15:28 I managed to capture the brand new Mellor buses which are currently in use on the 79 Swinton - MediaCityUK - Stretford service today 21222 with the destination display issues bound for Swinton with a paper number display Diamond LN19UBD by Mike McNiven, on Flickr 21221 bound for Stretford Diamond LN19UBB by Mike McNiven, on Flickr RE: Diamond Bus North West - gilesbus1 - 08/05/2019 17:50 According to West Midlands Bus Photo's website three more Mercedes-Benz 516CDi Mellor Strata B21F are due, already here, or imminent, for Eccles depot, registrations and fleet numbers are recorded as being:- 21223 LM19 UBC 21224 LM19 UBE 21225 LM19 UBF Not sure what these are intended for in terms of route. A lot of councillors ignore that and claim a bus with 1 pass holder is viable. RE: Diamond Bus North West - Solo40336 - 11/05/2019 12:24 Eccles 20872 has recieved the new two tone blue fleet livery and had new seats throughout. A lot of councillors ignore that and claim a bus with 1 pass holder is viable. Really? Which councillor would that be or are we so much into the age of making spurious claims that cannot be substantiated by facts that anyone can say anything without being able to give a shred of evidence to support it? I can think of a few high-profile politicians who have made a successful career out of doing this. RE: Diamond Bus North West - gilesbus1 - 11/05/2019 15:54 The re-routing of the 694 they have done is strange, it would surely have been easier simply to of extended the 683 to Tyldesley rather than re-route this away from its route by about two miles then back to route. |
