Hi, i own an atlantean but was wondering why the bus was dropping gear between 3rd and 4th gear when the bus was initially moving and then after 20 mins driving, it was fine. We were told the sensors were fine and the gears were ok, any ideas and could it become a bigger problem? Thanks
What is it doing exactly - are you trying to change from third to fourth and it won't engage fourth? Sounds like sufficient air pressure is not getting through to engage the brake band(s) for fourth if that is the case - there could be moisture in there or another blockage.
Are you changing gear 'properly' (i.e. pausing in neutral off the throttle) or banging it straight through with the accelerator depressed?
