Heck, good on em, that route is gonN be proper flooded now, firzt go man to mid every 3 mins, 61 from man to viccy ave and now this...
I do understand the obsession with JPT and the 17, particularly when First have the promotional fares still on the route.
The route needs a frequency increase, but First will not allow it to come from JPT.
Same sh*t will happen again and they will almost bankrupt themselves
So 3 weeks until we start to see JPT f**k up again trying to compete with First (on the 17, according to vosa, starts on the 2nd september)
Noticed a plain White Enviro200 reg MX10KNR parked in Ashton yesterday afternoon - think this may have previously been with MCT.
The driver very kindly parked it in the alighting stop outside the Market while he went off shopping meaning every other Stagecoach and First bus had to alight in the middle of the road. It wasn't so long ago JPT were complaining about bluebird and first blocking their stands!
This bus is a lease afaik, well MCT leased it, jpt may have bought it.
It's seems quite a few of the White Primo's are actually mintstral loans.
Yeah, they were at mct too, must cost them a fwir bit..

Confirmed on TfGM website:
Quote:17 02/09/2013 Rochdale – Manchester
Run by Jpt. Monday to Friday daytime journeys introduced between Middleton and Manchester run by Jpt.
Other JPT changes will see them gain the late evening tendered journeys on the 112, while losing the late evening journeys on the 256 and they re-gain the 294 from M Travel. The 118 and 156 are re-timed, while the 157, which was introduced earlier in the year, is withdrawn.
Wilk be interesting to see if they f**k up and end up selling their okay buses again to sort their finances out
