Platforms 4 at both Huyton and Roby are now complete and open. They are used be trains heading towards St Helens Central.
This was the last part of the Liverpool to Manchester electrification.

They were opened last month.
I posted to close the thread as nobody else had bothered!
Just to remind everyone that
Platform 4 at Roby/Huyton is used for services to Wigan and Preston.
I think it can occasionally be used for services to Manchester.

I suspect the Platform 4 connection to be used mostly for when the service is in service recovery mode after a problem on the Manchester line , there will also probably be a few booked trains as well.
