Is the Merc still at A2B. I was hoping to jump on it tomorrow but it hasn't tracked today.

It's not only the Heswall services that have been affected, the evening Moreton Circulars have been "temporarily" withdrawn.
Why have they taken on these other routes if it meant cutting services elsewhere? Not really on, that.

Exactly what happened to Supertravel…
I get it that with the tender for the 811 going to Selwyns that has freed up a bus to run one new tender but they have reduced other services in order to gain a contract they don't actually have the resources for. Merseytravel are obviously aware of this and are happy for it to happen.
Noted on the 73 yesterday was the former regular vehicle, white Enviro200 MX09???, remnants of old Eazibus logo just about still visible on the side
A2B have been using a 24 plate minibus on the Moreton circulars today.
I have noticed that buses on the evening Moreton Circulars routes go around (empty) without any internal lighting on. Is this normal for a bus that is in service even if it doesn't have passengers on it?
