I had Dart KU52 YLE (2152) on the 130 tonight from Old Roan to Netherton and it was on time and, again, the driver was polite and talkative.

The 130/210/250 are tight for time and busy so it's not uncommon for them to be a little late... especially until the drivers get used to it.
I think that is a Merseytravel trait to have services very tightly timed , that is not an Impera fault , merseytravel just like to get there money's worth.
the 130/210/250 has had a very dark history with most operators in terms of time keeping. Maybe thats why they want a depot close to the route so they can send buses out if running severely late like Arriva St Helens do.

"New" buses are only sent out when the "new" driver's bus doesn't arrive (severely late), as far as I know.

The ex CMT/Ace Travel depot in charnock road on the aintree industrial estate is still empty maybe that would be ideal for them.

Sorry about that! I did mean 2521. 2152, V152 MVX, is indeed here.
Impera had applied to cancel the 30 registration before it had started because of mistakes with timing and route map being wrong. We were advised 6 days before the original start date that we had to run the service giving us no time to arrange new buses and staff, not to mention staff training. We did our best as a operator to run these services dispite no advertising. The buses that did run run empty with maybe a few 39 passengers, it is not in the public best interest nor the enviroment to run empty buses adding yet more dirt into the air. The service should never had started, our priorities lie with our tendered services and our established services such as the 39.
