I think, but am not certain, that AECs A228, 30-32 delivered 10/59 were also unpainted. No doubt there was a post-war surplus of melted down RAF aircraft at the time.
As far as I can recall the Leylands operated out of Green Lane until 1968 when L305-9 were transferred to Litherland. The AECs spent most of their life at PAR, I think.
