Stena Up-date

The Birkenhead-Belfast service now has the two 'new' vessels that were destined for the service.
STENA EDDA and STENA EMBLA are now both serving the route. They give increased capacity for freight as well as passengers (although COVID restrictions at the present time on people movements).
Stena Embla has been drydocked at Cammell Lairds. It is good to see Stena using the local facility. The Embla replaced the Stena Edda which was in the drydock from 7-31 January. Their place on the Birkenhead to Dublin route has been taken by the Stena Estrid.
Stena have started va new service freight only from Birkenhead 12 Quays to Dublin using Stena Horizon for the moment.
Stena Adventurer 43000 GRT which operates on the Holyhead to Dublin route is on her way to Cammell Lairds at Birkenhead for drydocking.
Stena Adventurer is now in Cammell Lairds No.5 drydock.
The replacement vessel for the Birkenhead-Dublin freight service is likely to be the chartered in BORE SONG 2011/25586 GRT. Registered in The Netherlands and managed by finnish interests should be here mid April.
The BORE SONG is confirmed as the new vessel for the Dublin to Birkenhead freight service.
