After nearly ten years out of service 47746 formerly named The Bobby has been rebuilt at Carnforth and will soon be out on the main line.
Anybody know that 57 was pulling 1Z44 Fort William-London Euston all today? Didn't get the number of that but 47826 was trialling on the rear.

WCRC have bought 37518 fron Ian Riley Engineering, Bury.
WCRC have bought 47802 and 47832 from Direct Rail Services. 47832 has been repaired and painted into West Coast livery.
A recent incident at Wooton Bassett involving steam locomotive 34067 Tangmere has resulted in the West Coast Railway bring suspended from all operations on the national network from midnight tonight until further notice.
That will spoil the summer for a whole load of people.

There again if the Cathedrals Express had actually collided with the FGW express that would also have spoiled more than the summer for a lot of people.
Former Northern Belle liveried 47832 has been bought by WCRC from DRS. It has been repainted in WCRC livery.
37685 has been repaired after its accident and has been repainted.
Been told as of tonight West Coast Railways has had its Steam Operations Suspended, Diesel Trains will not be affected and will continue to operate
