Intercity liveried 47828 owned by D05 Traction Group has joined the WCRC fleet on a hire agreement.
WCRC are to operate a shuttle service again this Saturday and Sunday on the Windermere branch. It should be operated by 47826 and 47832.
47851 and 47854 on Sunday to work;

1Z76 1303 Chesterfield > York
1Z77 1447 York > Chesterfield
1Z78 1702 Chesterfield > York
1Z79 1914 York > Chesterfield

Now only running as far as Sheffield with 47746 & 47854 allocated.
47500 which suffered fire damage when it derailed in Ordsall, Salford back in January 2013 has been cut up on site at Carnforth Steamtown.
57006 has been reinstated.
An interesting acquisition by WCRC is 86401 which was last used by Caledonian Sleeper for empty stock movements mainly at Glasgow.
On a visit to Nuneaton on Tuesday 33207 was noted in the sidings next to the down slow line. This locomotive is normally seen at Southall.

The Northern Belle Loco’s have recently been named, 57313 “Scarborough Castle” and 57601 “Windsor Castle”.
