Information

Again, thanks to all who participated in the July contest so with no further ado, here we go again! Similarly to previous competitions, there are some rules set in place though they have been subject to some minor changes recently so, to ensure you're fully up-to date, please do take a look, here. You can view an up-to date league table attached to a post in the June competition thread.

The deadline for entries will be 23.59 on 23rd September. Any entries submitted after the given date will, unfortunately, not be entered for the competition that month. Voting will commence from the 25th September giving a 6 day voting period.

As ever, an up-to date league table will be published with the results of each month's competition. All entries should be submitted to MDDWPhotoComp[at]outlook.com where @ is replaced with [at] for spam prevention. Once the deadline passes, the photos will be uploaded and published in the relevant month's thread in the initial post along with a poll for voting.

With thanks to R311 WVR, the theme for this month is 'Independent Operators'. A few example being: Halton Transport, HTL Buses etc. If there are any enquiries regarding the theme, feel free to post within this thread or, alternatively, send a PM containing your enquiry to R311 WVR. As previously, the winner will then select the next month's theme.

Good Luck!
Unfortunately, there have been insufficient entries for the competition to run this month and therefore, the theme will be extended to September too. Please see the initial post in this thread for revised dates for both entry and voting.

Thanks,
Quick reminder that the competition has run through to September and that we're still welcoming entries!
This dead?
Lack of entries or interest unfortunately means that it's not viable to continue running the competition for the moment. If sufficient interest were shown, I'd be happy to initiate it again though.
The catogory choice by the wining member wasnt that great and made people not bother so the previous winner needs to choose another catogory
Erm? Wasen't great? Independent Operaters gives a wide choice of photo opertunities as near enough every town has an Inderpendent, Crewe has D&G, Macclesfield has Bakerbus and Bowers, Liverpool have Cumfybus, HTL, Peoplesbus...anymore?
I'm with R311WVR here - I don't see how you could come up with a broader category!
Quite. It's a category which has run previously without such a lack of entries so I hardly think that's the issue.
Will this restart for 2014
