Only ticket is the Explorer - £9.30 for the day, covers the major Bus Companies, the Tyne & Wear Metro and the Ferry but only on Northern Rail services between Sunderland and Newcastle.

There is also the network one ticket for use in Tyne&Wear on bus, train and metro.

There aren't actually any buses from the Airport to Newcastle annoyingly. You could either get the boring metro, or get the 353 to Kingston Park, then the X47 to Newcastle.
Hi

If your only travelling around the tyneside area there are a number of tickets u can use.

The network one ticket valid on all public transport in tyne and wear..bus. metro .ferry. rail on the sunderland to newcastle to metrocentre line can be bought from the metro ticket machine at a cost of appro £25 for one weeks travel.

A single on the metro from airport to newcastle city centre is £2.60 I think. And the stagecoach 7 day rider is 12.90 for newcastle area only.

If your wanting to use multi operators def go for the network one 7 day pass at 25 quid. As long as u stay in tyne and wear its your best bet.
Best advice would be ti buy a weekly metro ticket and just get the metro into Newcastle Haymarket or monument everyday saying as its the easiest and quickest way to get from airport into Newcastle

Is the whole meaning of the enquiry as the person involved wishes to use bus services rather than metro services?
