This is one I have created for my own records, some 11 Plates may be missing due to them being withdrawn imminently. Most NH stuff is allocated fleet numbers but don't actually carry them. I am unaware if the 16 and 18 Plate Tourismo's or theirs are allocated fleet numbers however.

This must be the first year in memory where there hasn't been a delivery of brand new coaches. Not that long ago annual orders of around 80 to 100 coaches was the norm.

2007, 2008 and 2012 also saw no new vehicles. Only National Holidays got a small batch in 2014 also. There’s a lot of 11 Plates being handed back in the last couple of months so either work is reduced or a new batch of Tourismo’s is due soon.

Have Shearings started going back to normal axle coaches with some of there Tourismo Coaches recently to try and save some money.
I had heard that the tri axles are actually easier to manoeuvre in tight spaces because of the driving rear axle.

This is probably going to end up with the splitting of the business into manageable units.
The coaching units
The Bay Hotel brand
The Coast and Country brand .
The problem with the Coaching Industry is that the vast majority not all of it is from the age range most affected by Coronavirus (COVID19).
Also think the recent spat with Which Magazine and the travel industry with regards refunding money rather than accepting a credit note is going to end up with all sorts of chaos in the travel industry.
Shearings maybe the first but will definitely not be the last though.

Just been on the BBC News that the company which owns Shearings has collapsed and all tours have been cancelled.
