Premiere Travel Ltd of Nottingham went into administration on Monday. They are still trading and the administrators are seeking a buyer.
Hmm. So what will happen to the National Express working if Premiere do go bust?
Mal
My understanding is that all Council and National Express contracts are being removed from Premiere by the end of the week.
Premiere ceased trading this evening. The majority of their contracts have been reallocated to other operators, NCT and Trent Barton are providing alternatvies to Red7 and Red9 and Trent Barton are offering a Premiere "ticket swap" so Premiere customers can easilt transfer to trent barton services where the Premiere ones were a carbon copy.
hardly surprised, they were buying/leasing/getting rid of buses every few week then they put in a order for brand new scania DDs!
good of trent barton to offer replacement tickets free of charge but i feel sorry for the drivers who have lost there jobs - lets hope trent barton/NCT or who ever else has taken on some of premieres work is hiring
its a shame really, another company bites the dust
Given the way Premiere handled themselves, and the stories I've heard of how their drivers behaved, I'm not sorry to see them go.

Anyone heard anything about the disposal of the Premiere fleet?
Were any vehicles leased?

Various other buses have been seen leaving, some on the back of low loaders.
