68018 AND 68019 are on board the EENDRACHT and due at Workington tomorrow.
57004 came into Crewe today looking filthy and when it left it decided to blow loads of crap straight at me, Not impressed by this unit.
57306 has been named Her Majestys Railway Inspectorate 175.

Perhaps you should not have been standing downwind of it.
All the other 57s and other Classes did not do this so i have a feeling its got a fault, the Cloud of crap could be seen moving towards the other Platforms as well
It's possible that 57004 hadn't been used on a long run for a while prior to when you saw it
Some diesel as said if they haven't been started for a while due produce copious amounts of smoke , not pleasant if you happen to be downwind of it . That said it shouldn't continue like that once started for a while , if that was the case then there is something wrong and will need to be seen to.
Apparently DRS have Withdrew their final Class 47s

The last Class 47 in service was Northern Belle liveried 47790. This survived about a month longer than the rest whilst crash damaged 57312 was repaired.
