A further seven Class 68s have been ordered from Vossloh. They will be numbered 68026-32.

You do now wonder whether the Class 37's on the Cumbrian coast are on borrowed time if they are looking at more Class 68's.

Collision happened at New Cumnock which is 45 miles from Glasgow.

68016 and 68017 are now on their way to the UK from Spain and are due to arrive at Workington on the 26th.
