37424 was named "Avro Vulcan XH558" at the Crewe Open Day yesterday. It also has the number 37558 on its body sides although it is registered on TOPS as 37424 and has those numbers on each end.

Yet again it stopped in platform 6 for relief and setting down staff at 18.03. At least unlike the last time it ran (as an HST) the 17.30 Manchester-Cardiff wasn't standing waiting to get in until somebody thought to get the driver to move because it had stopped so far short that the subsidiary signal didn't clear.
Class 37 no 37558 in grey/red large logo livery was on Gresty Road depot today. Where has this come from?

It's standard BR Blue Large Logo not the Railfreight variant.
