Hi folks
Does anyone know what's happened to the Torch Relay StreetLites that were due for Merthyr? They seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth since the Paralympics ended.
They're back at Wrightbus for repaint and interior reconfig, as well as warranty work. They shouldn't be too far off returning soon.

Thank you
it'll be good to see them in Stagecoach livery.
For anyone in Wales looking for Solo 47697 (CN59 DWO), it is currently to be found on the premises of Smiles Engineering, NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE, enjoying the company of several Arriva London PDLs, a couple of Stagecoach Merseyside ALX400s and a couple of Strathtay saloons.
Just to make things more interesting, 47696 (CN59 DWM) has now turned up at the same site. I confirmed both vehicles by reg number, but did not observe 47697 today so it may have returned south. For info, 47653 (KX58 AYG), one of the Leamington Spa gold-liveried solos, arrived last Friday.

Thought I'd posted a reply before, clearly not.
Smiles are experts at retro-fitting and re-engineering Cummins engines - the Solos etc at their place are MAN engined undergoing conversion.
Just an update to advise that 47696 (and 47653) are both still at Smiles undergoing work today.

Imo that livery looks nice on that.
I'm not to keen on the front but apart from that it isn't too bad.
