Was in Keswick yesterday (Saturday 4th October) at around 1728 and part open top Olympian 16329 was operating the 78 Keswick <> Seatoller and a Scania d/d departed with a good loading on the 1730 555 to Lancaster clearly demonstrating the need for double decks on this service.

16329 was again on the extra 78 today - it looks like Trident open-top 17277 has died....
The extra 104s between Penrith and Carlisle which were originally Trident operated were today worked by Olympian 16337 and B10M 20960.
Last Friday I saw 18375 on the 10.40 600 service from Carlisle to Cockermouth/West Cumberland Hospital. This had Stagecoach in Lancaster fleetnames and is on the latest fleetcard allocated to Barrow but the service is operated by Lillyhall!
David.
18375 on loan from Barrow to cover shortages at Lillyhall, while schools are off. On paper everything is fine there, but 2 of their Olympic covers were never actually withdrawn from service, so in the real world they only got 2 buses in from reserve to cover the 4 buses that left.
A bus was on fire in Windermere earlier today, believed to be one of the Bike & Ride MAN ALX300's. Confirmation to come later.

22121 apparently.
Oh no! That used to belong to Manchester.
Well they're in the process of getting rid of quite a few more MAN's from Manchester so they don't need it back.
Anyone know where 22121 is know?
Presumably in the knacker's yard

22121 is PX59 AZJ, right? If so, it's based at Gillmoss at the moment.

No, that's 2
4121. 22121 (S121 TRJ) is the MAN that was converted to carry bikes in the Lakes that caught fire the other day.
