Can anyone confirm that the MMCs at Kendal and Morecombe have entered service?

They went on the road on Monday. Plenty of photographers along the route as well!!
I went down and got some today, Have to say they perform great on the Motorway 555 but i dont find the Leather seats that comfy
10559 is at Kendal
10561 seen near Kendal yesterday as well

Btw, is it known where 15723-9 will end up yet?

I hear Barrow for the 6........although 15725 is being used by Lancaster and was on the 555 last week
Solo round-up:

47753 swapped for 47008 (Gillmoss)
47018 swapped for 47002 (Wigan)
47754 to be swapped for 47004 (Arbroath)
The aim being to hoard as many pre-October 2001 Solos for school contracts as they do not require a pull-test when seatbelting.

47017 is now officially withdrawn; 47005 up for disposal.
47237/9, 394/5, 449/450/452-5 in from Oxford. So far 47452/5 have entered service at Morecambe, so 47021 should be withdrawn shortly.
The KX51 batch (47001-14) must be September reg. 47016 onwards (PO51 ---) are October so would require a pull test. Not sure where the ex-Preston ones fit in age wise.

47005 is being disposed due to being riddled with faults that are beyond economic repair.

Essentially there are two different things going on with the Solos: swapping of 51 plates with other regions to get seatbeltable examples, and the entry into service of the ex-Oxford examples to replace the non-belted 51 regs.
Kendal got 2 X reg Solos and fitted them with Seatbelts only to withdraw them not long later
If you mean the ex-First pair, they were never belted and never saw service. Have since been donated to the Souter Foundation.
