Manviro 22596 and ALX400 18380 have transferred to morecambe.
We are due more manviros between now and september to replace the ALX300 MANs and a dart from kendal.
With the restart of services 77 and 77A (Keswick-Buttermere) this week, Solos 47022/753/754 are all now back in service at Carlisle freshly repainted. A spare Solo has been used in recent weeks on the 400 Silloth-Blackwell but now that they are all required, 16119 has been on the 400 today.
Two open-toppers are required daily for 78 (Keswick-Seatoller) for the next two weeks but today only one (16534) was available as 17217 has been in the workshop and 17277, originally Carlisle, is now at Kendal.
Olympian 16118 has been seen in service a few times recently in Workington. Latest tonight.
Closed top Trident 18381 in green was on the 599 yesterday.
Open-top Olympian 16534 was in the workshop at Carlisle today so only one open-topper (17217) would have been available for service 78 (Keswick-Seatoller).
Newly converted 17495 arrived at Carlisle before Easter but some work is needed on it and it is not available for service.
17495 is now in service from Penrith outstation on service 78 (Keswick-Seatoller).

22139 has been taken away for scrap, 22134 and 22143 still awaiting their fate. There will be little left of 34589 soon as major mechanical units, seats, windows and other body parts as well as have been removed as well as the front end being used to repair 34717.

22139? I remember the persistently smelly exhaust[when at Stockport] so well.
Scania double deckers from the 15684-6 batch at Lillyhall were working on the X5 service from Workington to Penrith yesterday (Bank Holiday Monday). Perhaps this is a test for the conversion of this route to similar Stagecoach Gold deckers later in the year.
In addition 16119 was noted on the A66 displaying 'sorry not in service'.
The last of the A300s up for disposal at Carlisle - 22143 - has now left. Two of these ex-Manchesters remain - 22149 and 22160 - but they are still classed as Reserve although neither has seen use for a considerable time now.
