Recently obtained Trident 17197 and Olympian 16118 were in Workington annexe today. 16118 was later seen in Whitehaven.
In Keswick, the Lakes and Kendal today and noted 18361 on the 78 at Keswick along with 15724/8 on the 555.
47058 (green + rear advert for Furness Building Society) was on the 505 at Windermere. 22595 was working on the 755 from Lancaster to Bowness.
The odd sighting, to me, was open top 17221 working on the 599 service. I thought the open toppers were all delicensed for the winter.

The 599 has been advertised as open-top for the whole of the winter timetable including Boxing Day and New Year's Day subject to "the weather not being too bad" and 17221 has been the regular bus.

To cover for 34717, Solo 47474 has been taken out of reserve and put back into service. A Solo is being used on the 400 (Blackwell-Carlisle-Silloth) in place of a Dart. 47474 has today been on the 69 with 47722 on the 400.
Olympians 16640 and 16642 made an appearance on the 555 yesterday (23/2/15)

EDIT: 16642 is on there again today!
Trident 17198 was in use at Lillyhall on wednesday. It joins 17197/9. In addition open topper 17012 was on open top duties on Feb 14th in Windermere.
Kendal depot's 21007 which was used on service 506 (Penrith-Kendal College) and out-stationed at Penrith was taken out of service last month and replaced by 20945. This was previously used on service 504 from Appleby and has been replaced by a Dart SLF which is out-stationed at Appleby Heritage Centre. The third of these services, 502 from Brough and Kirkby Stephen, is worked by 20944 which is out-stationed at Grand Prix Services in Brough.
21007 sadly suffered gearbox failure and it's future is uncertain. Finding a suitable 'box at the right price is proving difficult.

The extra dart onto fleet at Kendal to essentially cover the loss of 21007 should be 34616 (if it ever gets off the pits!)
Accident-damaged Dart SLF 34589 from Northampton is currently in the body shop at Carlisle. The damage to this bus is extensive but confined to the offside and I wonder if parts from the front end are to be used in the repair of Carlisle's own 34717?
Correct. 34589 is indeed donating its front to 34717.
