Stagecoach have this week taken over the contract for 71 (Carlisle-Anthorn) and 101 (Carlisle-Rockcliffe) which was previously operated by Stacey's. Today Solo 47754 was on this work.

As the contract is for a full day working, I would expect that Carlisle depot will need an extra Solo (the contract is for a low-floor) and wonder if one of the two delicensed Solos on the current fleetcard will be drafted in.

On a separate note, B10M 20710 has been shown as allocated to Carlisle for a couple of periods but I have not seen it about. Today the other two B10Ms were both in service on their regular work - 20219 on the 94/97 and 20944 on the 108 at Penrith.
Solo 47009, in reserve at Lillyhall, has been used in service over the last week.
I travelled on it yesterday and it had difficulty going up Calva Brow to Seaton.
Good job this was not on Honister Pass duties.

47753 is now in service at Carlisle. It is on service 69 today while 47754 is on the new workings on 71/101.

MAN 22160 is now appearing on Carlisle city services pretty well daily.
Lillyhall's Trident 18328 was on the 30 service (Maryport - Thornhill) yesterday. Similar 18380 was also running.
MAN 22108 was also running on the 30/31.
Ex London Trident 17246 was working Workington town service 50/51 (Moorclose Circular) today. This is normally Solo operated.
There'll probably be quite a few more out of place allocations from Lillyhall in the next few weeks until things are sorted out. 47753 has gone to Lillyhall on loan to help out while problems are sorted. Hopefully their fleet reliability will be much improved by the end of summer.

They've had it in service since about October. It's spent quite a lot of time on 600 and 300 in the past few months, mainly 600 though.

Yes, that right. It worked on the additional 300 service timings introduced while Reays operated their 300R service in competition with Stagecoach.
47009 is still in service at Lillyhall, working the 46/47 services over the last couple of days.
