I stumbled across this site from another forum that someone posted a link too, & it's a great site, has an archive of timetables, from North West area, a lot of Merseyside area timetables are up, also has some maps, & fare tables too.

what a brilliant website some great memories there of long lost services in Cheshire and Wirral routes I had totally forgot about
