Reading Buses has announced it has ordered the first buses of a new type, it has ordewred 19 Scania K series Gas Buses with ADL Enviro E300NG bodies.

Reading have become the second operator (after the Oxford Bus Company) to put Enviro 400 MMCs into service on their 21/21A Claret Routes. This is one of the main routes in Reading as it runs past the university, and to cater for demand, the route now runs 24/7 since the MMCs have arrived.

Reading must be one of the first operators to introduce MMC Enviro400 models in service. Oxford may have their Brookes Bus examples in service. Some operators like Arriva in our area have recently introduced "traditional" Enviro400s into service.
What a lucky fella. Bet he feels like he's win the lottery getting away with that more or less unscathed.
