The publisher DC Thompson who publish both The Dandy and The Beano are doing a review of all there titles to see which are still viable and which ones arent .
The Dandy at the height of its success had a circulation of 2,000,000 now that circulation last year was down to 8,000.
In contrast The Beano has a circulation of 38,000 last year and is still a very good seller at the newsagents .
Unfortunately because of the drop in The Dandy circulation this comic is now liable to be taken off the shelves and the characters inside consigned to the history books .
