Obviously a short term plan.

As I stood on Princes Street yesterday afternoon, admiring Lothian's immaculately turned out fleet of 3 year old open toppers, V526ESC drove by. It was scruffily turned out in plain red, and the route display showed "Exciting News Coming Soon". I can only imagine that the plan involves "cheap and cheerful", but the impression it made on me was VERY underwhelming. At least First Bus hadn't put their name on display. It'll end in tears.....
Wasn't sure if there was a thread dedicated to First Scotland East so I thought I'd post it here.

Looks like McGills have acquired the operation.
I hope some good day tickets will be introduced allowing for example 1 day ticket from Stirling to Gourock on McGills' group
Good morning,

Can anyone upload a copy of a Lothian fleet list from about 2020? I'm planning a trip & haven't been up to Edinburgh since 2019 & it looks like many many of my sightings of buses then have now been scrapped, withdrawn, etc. I have 2019 fleet numbers, eg, 601 that now has been replaced by another 601. If someone can help I'd appreciate it please. Thanks.
