I heard whispers that despite being sold as a runner separate to the rest of the batch to an unknown buyer, 1046 had ended up going for scrap anyway. It's still got tax on it though which suggests that its fate may not lay in a scrap yard... yet.

Another member said in the Runcorn thread the other day that it looks like they have given up with 1047 as it is parked in the back of the yard.

Oh right, couldnt remember who it was and couldnt be bothered looking for it.

am told 1046 been taxed until april 2013 so if thats true its been re taxed

It is true as a quick check on the DVLA licensing enquiry website shows.
