DAF 6 is off the road with a fault - unsure whether it will be coming back. 9 is also off the road but 5 is still in traffic and is out in service today
Not big news but Dennis Trident 23 has been fully fitted with the new red seating scheme.

Thanks for the update, very interesting.

I'd be interested in seeing an ELC Myllennium Lowlander/Lolyne in the Silver Livery if any remain in the fleet long enough.
Volvo 168 might be getting repainted as it's currently away for repairs at Wrightbus but I don't think there are any plans to repaint any of the remaining East Lancs-bodied buses at the moment

That's good, I E-Mailed Ian Longworth a few months ago and he did say 160-170 would be repainted in time. He wasn't sure if 12/17-24/44-46 would be either.

I hear some fairly major changes are coming at Bus Vannin. Bus Vannin are starting Services 4P & 4R, Serving Peel/Niarbyl & Douglas/Port Erin. Discontinuation of Service 5/5C Serving Jurby, and a new Service 5J. Increased frequency and Sunday Provision on Service 8/8A. A new Service 9, Serving Douglas/Nobles Hospital/Ballaughton Manor Hill & Newlands. A new Service 10A, Changes to 13 Termination Points, as a result of new Service 15 (see above), changes to 16/16A/16B, a new 18A Service. Also, the Service 26 will no longer serve Tromode Park Estate, and a new Service 27/27A will cover Tromode Park Estate & Strang.

Service 23/23B will also now only operate Peak Time Journeys.
I think with the 2009 Volvos is that as you have said they'll be repainted as and when rather than straight away. 168 and Citaro 212 (due to be renumbered 231) are still away getting repaired

At least five of the six Volvo B9TLs on order have been built and WiFi should be getting introduced on the rest of the buses (it's already on the 2013 Volvos) once 4G is introduced on the Isle of Man

Further to this posting I have received confirmation that 168 has returned from repair and has been repainted into the new silver livery. Thanks to Garry Brookes for this information

Good to hear, hopefully see some pictures soon. Only 10 Maroon & Cream buses left!

I'll try and get some for you when it's back in service KMN

VDLs 44-46 will be leaving the fleet upon the arrival of 177-82. No more buses will be leaving the fleet once the VDLs have left leaving nine Tridents as school buses. 12 will be the last to depart when they are eventually replaced

Thanks FMN.

Makes sense, keeping a standardised fleet of Tridents for schools duties/reserve vehicles should be easier to maintain than a mix of Tridents & DB250s.
