After arriving on a Ryanair flight last Saturday night Manchester Airport sent across a bus to shuttle us to the terminal 3 building. They just sent one bus initially and only set up the front steps. The flight probably had around 150 passengers on board - most seats were occupied but there were a few that didn't.
When there around 80 of us on the bus the driver kept insisting there's more space (most people had carry on bags with them) and got around 15 more to squeeze on. Then he had a rant about needing to request another bus because people won't budge up.
How many passengers are these buses supposed to carry? Surely they can't expect to carry 150 on a single bus when most people have carry on bags or suitcases.
The origin airport in Spain uses two vehicles to shuttle us across. My guess is Manchester Airport were short of ground crews and wanted to try and put the blame on passengers.
