You do actually make a valid argument, some more Hybrids would do and maybe toss in a few DB300s and we're good

Doubt that happening due to cost of double door removal, new led dest blinds. Dont forget from 1st April Arriva have new owners, so they might have plans of there own to secure routes and depots for the 2026 franchise

Who is the buyer?

I Squared Capital, based in North America.
According to Quack77 fleetlist and other sources it appears a batch of 2016 Wright Streetdecks are in the process of delivery to the North West with SW2,3 and 4 LK16BYB/C/D arriving at St. Helens.

I presume they must be at the bodyshop for single door conversion.
Could the be to replace the remaining Enviro400s from the 4400 to 4422 and 4423 to 4434 batches?

I don't believe so from what I've been told mate, apparently they're coming over as new Rail Replacement buses but I heard they were 400MMCs so unless these are also Rail Replacement buses is far beyond my mind

4 buses were due to transfer for the rail fleet, painted all over yellow with double doors retained.

3 buses were due to moved last Saturday but they failed to make the move from Edmonton as planned. 1 was rejected on site due to faults, 1 failed at the gates and 1 failed 8 miles from the depot.

I understand an alternative batch is now being sourced.
