I recently flew out of Faro airport and they were shuttling passengers from the departure gate to the plane by bus. Most of the vehicles being used were modern low floor high capacity type you would expect. However, when the bus arrived at my departure gate it was an old orange and white step entry vehicle. Has anyone else experienced this or know what the vehicle is?

I think it had some similarities with this type of vehicle but may not have been this type: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/620159811165998088/

It was a dual door vehicle but not an articulated bus.

I know which you mean. There’s more than one. They bear a strong similarity to the orange buses you used to see in split/ dubrovnik which were a man su220 I think.

I’m flying from faro in a couple of months so I’ll keep my eye out.
