I've seen F15 HOW on the 289 before so it's not the largest bus Howards have used on that service. I think they used V24 HOW on the 289 the first day they ran it.
The 289 should get its own, new, dedicated branded vehicle in October
On demonstration here at the moment is Irizar i6 YT65 BYX. Should be here until next Thursday.

Cheshire East really need to sort their timetables out. Today a woman was waiting for the 09:45 Knutsford to Macclesfield - apart from it's a 09:15 Knutsford to Macclesfield now despite what the bus stop timetable shows and had left on time. By going off what the bus stop timetable shows it could give the impression the 9:45 didn't show up and the 10:45 ran half an hour late.

Thought for a moment that the last one was a mistake and it must be going Knutsford to Northwich, but it's sound according to Traveline, meaning a different vehicle and driver will have to do this journey.

Previous journey was wrong it's to Northwich not Knutsford
There is a school journey to be run in the gaps.

Must be a short school journey to and from a Knutsford school, unless there's a bus switch as well.
It does the 188 service from Small Lane/Pepper St at 0810 getting into Knutsford at 0830 then does the return trip at 1530 from Knutsford to Mobberley before returning to Knutsford to recommence service 289.
