I wonder whether the Streetdecks at Green Lane will enable some Enviro 400s to move to Runcorn to convert route 79c back to double-deck?

Outside this area, I understand the 68-reg Streetlites at Derby were ex-dealer stock too.

The 47 is a much higher priority for decker conversion in my view. That route's been in desperate need for extra capacity for longer than I can remember
Will the streetdecks and streetlites not be as they are other than internal changes as they are dealer stock rather than factory ordered

79C won't have deckers on it because of low bridges between Halton Hospital & Murdishaw on the busway.

I've heard they will be getting deckers in January as the route will be changed to start and finish at halton hospital to allow the deckers to be used as .

I agree, and when I last used route X2 noticed it seemed more popular for being double-deck.
It's the Streetlites which are dealer stock, the Streetdecks are being built to order utilising an available slot at Wrights.

The Streetlites are being modified from dealer spec to Arriva spec before delivery very soon.
Does anyone reckon winsford might get some of the older buses cascaded to them again?????

It usually happens as don't know if they've got to stick to strict emissions rules (euro 6) due to being out of a city area.

At the moment we've got a fleet of ex arriva wales enviro 400 deckers & some cascaded older wright cadets which although old are still going strong. There's also some solos which are 12 plates along with 660 which is older. Alongside the cadets are some pulsars which have come from various depots.

Also mainly at macclesfield but a few at winsford are some of the awful mercedes bodied mellor stratas. These seriously have been a disaster! Drivers hate the microscopic cabs & they bounce about a ton. Also there's 1 or 2 ex london deckers, can't remember the body type but their for school use only.
Following the arrival of the first of Southport's StreetLites I've updated the list in the first post of the thread
Southport's other 5 Streetlites will be 6010-6014 and 6015.
