Did Arriva have a rule on replacing buses after 15 years or to be withdrawn! Or did that go out the window a while back. Hence buses such as 2483/84 still going. Which are 17 years old!

On Merseyside that rule seemed to be about, might have been due to merseytravel.

I think even in Merseyside vehicles are staying longer now 2730 was coming up to 17 years old when it was withdrawn back in 2018

Yes well that is kind of obvious lately with a couple of 54 plates still about, plus 55 plates as well.

That was the agreement in the bus alliance, signed by both Arriva and Stagecoach, doesn't anybody any good knackered old buses on the road
