What's your favourite and least favourite bus.

If I was to pick in terms of NW&W favourite bus, I would probably go with Wright Commander CX06 BHJ, brilliant bus when I last rode it, if I was to pick for all over the UK, I would've gone for the ZF Queen Wright Solar FJ03 VVM, if that was not scrapped, So I would go for CX06 BHJ for all over, and least favourite would be Wright Pulsar CX58 EUE, too loud and the Airbrake gives me a headache, it's too loud.
Surely there cannot be any argument that the Optare Spectra, with a lower deck like the Black Hole of Calcutta and starting the trend for styling to trump capacity and/or legroom considerations was the worst design ever.

Yeah, The Spectra looks a bad design but considering it's a DB250 which I am a fan of I like those types.

So basically a bus which was designed to improve access for wheelchair users and less-abled people is "the worst design ever"?

Good grief
My favourite has the be the Enviro 200 MMC, the version that Blackpool Transport and Stagecoach Manchester (Stockport) have. The comfortable and quantity of seats that are well spaced out, and the engine sound is just so southing.
As I sadly don't get much chance to ride on that model (except on the occasion it comes on the 11/11A or take a trip to Blackpool), my regular favourite is the Pulsar 2 that Arriva Wythenshawe typically use on the 19/245. It also is comfortable with plenty of seats that are spaced out well.

Whilst I don't have a recollection of my worst bus, I have unfortunately had to endure with Optare Solos that have seen much better days with a ride that is less desired. I'm solely coming from a consumer viewpoint here but found that the TfGM hybrid Optares are much more comfortable to be in and the Solo's that were used on Arriva's 266/267 service were much better buses to be in.

EDIT: I am looking back now and I recall the experiences of Diamond's use of the Mellor Strata's on the 217. These are my worst buses due to their constant electrical faults and the most uncomfortable ride - it was not fun over speed bumps.

I know right, imagine.
I don't ride buses often enough these days to vote for individual buses but in terms of types, my all-time favourites are the Arriva Volvo B7TL/Alexander Dennis ALX400s (4100-4129), the ex-MTL Volvo Olympian/NC Palatine IIs (only the 3271-3308 batch; the R-WVRs were awful) and the ex-London DAF DB250/Alexander ALX400 'DLA's. Always a pleasure to ride on these buses.

Least favourite type is the BYD K9/ADL Enviro200s (7000-7011) as their ride quality is disgraceful and it doesn't help that they are completely the wrong size of bus on the routes for which they were ordered. Also, both the former Arriva Wright Ultralows and ELC Myllenniums were very, very poor riders which I definitely don't miss.

The Marshall Dart back window was one of the most annoying rattly things tbh, some Marshall's were good tho, 7654 for example.
