Can't be sure which depot this bus would belong to, presumably given where it happened and no mention of any passengers would mean it was an empty movement, perhaps before/after a school contract or a bus that was being transferred from one depot to another: https://www.knutsfordguardian.co.uk/news...s-traffic/

This is the second Arriva fire reported in recent weeks with BBC North West showing images of one of their Solos catching fire in Merseyside a few weeks ago.

The earlier fire to which you refer wasn't an Arriva bus - it was Huyton Travel.

The only solo I remember seeing in merseyside recently was HTL optare solo up in billinge.
Theres only st Helen's depot on merseyside as far as I'm aware of that have optare solos and I havent heard anything in work saying one of ours caught fire.
Been told this was 4164 that was en route to Bolton to be a Canteen Bus
