Taken from the 201 Bus Group's website,

The 201 Bus Group is pleased to announce that it will be operating service 15PR the Free Heritage Bus Service in New Brighton on Saturday 10th August 2012 which is usually provided by the Wirral Transport Museum.

The service run’s between the Floral Pavilion and Harrison Drive from 12 noon to 4pm and will run every 20 minutes.

If you are arriving to New Brighton by car, the 15PR service stops at various points along the promenade if you wish to park your car near the Harrison Drive end of New Brighton, where you’re more than likely guaranteed a free parking space!

We will be using Birkenhead Corporation Leyland Titan PD2 FBG 910 on the service, we hope you can join us in this unique opportunity to ride a vintage bus along the promenade.
Don't know if anyone has the latest Buses magazine, the 201 Bus Groups Birkenhead Corporation Leyland Titan PD2/40 with Massey body FBG 910 features in the Preservation Update on page 58 for doing the farewell tour of the Birkenhead docklands on the 15th July 2012. On Facebook, the 201 Bus Group has also mentioned of more possible tours around the local area for 2013 too, which will possibly by Wallasey themed.
I'm pleased to announce that from mid November Birkenhead 10 (FBG 910) will be moving to its new storage site at the NWVRT in Kirkby with Wallasey 1 (FHF 451) to follow in December, Wirral Peninsula 1070 (B926 KWM) will however remain at the current site at Hooton Aerodrome for the use of attending rallies and events, as many of the members are based on the Wirral.

When the yearly overview newsletter is published in December this will also contain a list of some of our new bus events that the 201 Bus Group and its friends will be organising for next year, which will contain the already mentioned by me Wallasey running day of which details will follow in due course.
