I would assume it's just an isolated allocation unless of course the vandals have either all been identified and incarcerated, moved to another part of the country or found God and seen the error of their ways .
Surely if they can put one out they must be confident that it will bo ok.

If there was vandalism where was it? Are the hybrids any safer in Speke on the 80 or 82
or in Halewood on the 78? Or Croxteth on the 14 for that matter.

As Barney said it is a one off allocation and isn't an indication of the hybrids going back on there. I don't know the extent of the vandalism on the hybrids on the 79/79D but it must have been severe enough for a decision to be made for their redeployment to other routes such as the 80/80A and 82

I have noticed very little vandalism on Green Lane's hybrids up to now

Led to beleive it was seats slashed , usb ports ripped out etc as was suppose to be quite badly damaged.
They've been on the 79 few times, I live in Manchester now so don't see the route as often but I've seen 3 allocated on separate occasions, However this was both the evening (x2) and Sunday (x1)

Evidence suggests that it only takes one or two individuals to cause serious and extensive damage to a fleet of vehicles. Recently, two young men were given custodial sentences for sustained acts of graffiti on Merseyrail rolling stock.
7004 and 7005 both now in service
Do we know what has gone to Maidstone in exchange?
