Avanti SX services loaded from 6th July to 4th September, with seperate STP schedules for the last week.
;
More services between Crewe and Chester/N.Wales but no through trains to or from Euston, although oddly the 05.51 Holyhead-Euston starts from Crewe.
Euston-Manchester/Birmingham revert to 3 tph, Blackpool still not served and Euston-Birmingham-Scotch still terminate at Preston.

More confirmed Pendo's with Avanti driving cars are 04, 08, 21, 25, 28, 30, 43 and 52.
From 7th September Blackpool will be served by three diverted Euston-Birmingham-Glasgow services on weekdays - a far better traffic prospect than the pre-Covid timetable. The other Glasgow trains continue to terminate at Preston, but Edinburgh trains revert to running through.
On Saturdays showing the old service, although it looks as though the revised weekend timetable may not have been loaded.
221116 was involved in a derailment coming off Polmadie Depot this morning. Couple of bogies came off and it collided with a stanchion.
221115 is now in Avanti West Coast livery now

This was 390138 which failed due to a hot axle box underneath coach 69138.

It was more than a hot axle box, it was on fire.
It took 22 hours to clear the line, presumably waiting for wheel skates to arrive so it could be moved
