Still, a fairly recent transferee down to Southern Counties, resplendent in the latest livery. There are more of the 25** 55-plate Cadets withdrawn and stored at Southend, I presume facing the same fate. 2531 being at least one of those. I am fairly sure these would have remained in use at ANW&W, and for some time baring any terminal defects.
I believe 2481, the first of the 04-plates withdrawn due to RTA damage, has also now been collected for scrap from Bangor depot.
Has 2631 been transferred yet?
Yes it's getting MOT'd at Southport.
Former Runcorn Cadet 2522 that went to Southern Counties as 3509 as made it's final journey to A HARDWICK bus breakers
2526 is at Bootle once again, seen it at QS today on a 5* , can't remember which.
Is it worth having the former 2486-8 CX04 EHV/W/Y listed that were new to Wrexham but moved over to Midlands Oswestry when a few years old?
Its been some time since this was updated. Notables in the local area are 2535 and 2542 being withdrawn and in a cannibalised state at SH, to where 2482 appears to have moved from WX for parts removal.
In terms of the Cadets that were flung further afield, notable disposals are of the erstwhile 2525, 2531 and the immaculately presented 2554 for scrap. It appears their usefulness at ASC was next to nil. A shame really, particularly in 2554's case after P&P.
That leaves 2532 as the only example left of the small batch transferred down there, indeed if it hasn't already departed.
