Suspect this might be why no further progress has been made with selling the remaining parts of First Manchester as seems like the new owners will have a different strategy and also th directors will be fighting for their jobs.

Note the dissatisfaction of the share holders at the bottom of the page in the letters section, looks like company may be split into American and British under new ownership, also looks like not happy with Rail Franchise bidding, looks like the end for FirstGroup.
