A few MTL bits & bobs

1 & 172 used to interwork on Sundays

Evenings had Palatines on a circuit that did..
1, 431, 8E, 7A, 1

Other routes of interest
1C Chester
10C Chester
10B Parkgate
411 was part of the old Silver Service network..
Then there was the 6 & 9 Wallasey routes operated by all sorts of oddball darts and Optares..
The 6 was always a minibus of some version due to the roads it used which required a vehicle with a smaller turning circle , some of the roads it used could barely fit two cars either side with the bus down the centre .

That brings back the memories, i don't recall the 1 interworking the 172, although the 1 before 7pm interworked the 431-432-433-434, with the evening & Sunday 431 interworked the 7A-8E[driver changes were made at Leasowe Station], but the 3A used to interwork the 37.

411 & peak 410 was the original Silver Service route using the Leyland Olympians 0064-0068 which were upgraded with dual purpose seating then the Volvo Olympians arrived December-January 95-96 to fitted Silver Service standard.
When they used 0064 to 0068 was that when they used Merseymaid 1847 also on the Plymyard Ave - Liverpool service .
