Think Cllr O'Dowd has been on a tightrope for a while , I think the Liverpool Echo will be happy now , who will be the sucessor that is the question we all want answered now .

Good riddance, biggest farce the proposed move from a building Merseytravel own[Hatton Garden HQ] to a building they have to pay millions in rent, hopefully they can get someone in with fresh ideas.

Nothing to lose any sleep over - he won't be missed a jot from here. In recent yeard we've had the HQ farce, the "gravy train" information leak, a self-indulgent train naming (Jack Spriggs), the woefully inadequate QBPs and in general precious little to shout about in terms of improvements.
Not holding my breath, but quietly hopeful someone with a better attitude takes over.
